Bexhill and
Rother Patient and Public Involvement Forum
Clive Mills
writes:
Rye and District CVS is contracted to establish
a Forum in the area served by the Bexhill and Rother
Primary Care Trust. Over and above my role as Development
Manager of Rother Community Links I am working with
Gina Sanderson and the CVS to establish the Forum
for this part of the area.
The first task is to help the Commission for Patient and
Public Involvement in Health (CHHPI) to recruit people
locally to sit on the Forum. The first Forum meeting will
be held in December and it is the Commission's desire to
have at least 8 members appointed by this first meeting.
Ultimately the intention is to have between 15 and 20
serving members.
I would be pleased if you could have a look at the
document and see if this is something that you would be
interested in personally or share it with people in your
organisation and your wider circle of family and friends
who you think may be appropriate. The Commission would
like to see diverse representation, and people from age
18 years are more than welcome to apply.
Should you wish to know more about the Forums and their
work please give me a call or send me an email.
